Tape Stories is a compilation of tracks that signifies the beginning of a profound journey through severe exhaustion and the emergence of grief. Recorded in early 2023, during a time when my energy was at its lowest, I delved into sound experimentations seeking comfort and joy.
Initially, I saw these sonic experiments as lacking. However, within their apparent imperfections, I appreciated some resonating elements. Through minor refinements involving simple EQ adjustments, stereo imaging, and mastering, I curated the works, embodying seeking, exploration, and meditative qualities, embracing noise and fragility. Some tracks share their DNA, a common root, while others wander into diverse territories, reflecting an ongoing quest for life's balance amidst chaos and a yearning to reconnect with the inner self.
